6월 30일, 경남 사천지부(지부장:황오목)는 지역의 단체장과 지도자 및 주민 255명이 참석한 가운데 삼천포해상관광호텔에서 ‘21C 여성지도자포럼’을 열었다.

이날 포럼은 식전행사인 필리핀⁃ 일본회원들의 축가에 이어서 서유나 회원의 사회로 개회되어 국민의례, 귀빈소개, 황오목 지부장(사천)의 환영사, 한대식 부의장(시의회)의 축사, 정선호 회장(산수원 애국회 경남지부)의 격려사, 문난영 회장의 주제강연 순으로 진행되었다.

참석자들은 여성연합의 세계적인 활동에 놀라며, 적극적인 여성리더를 많이 양성하고 그 활동이 국민적 활동이 되기를 바란다고 소감을 전했다.

또한 오전 포럼에 이어 사천지부에서는 문난영 회장님을 모시고 사천지부 ‘동지부장 및 회원교육’이 있었다. 여성연합 조직 강화와 지역 활동 확대 및 연대활동 강화를 목적으로, 여성연합의 전 세계 활동보고에 이어 문난영 회장의 말씀으로 비젼 2020에 대한 새로운 각오와 결단의 시간이 되었다.

21C Women Leaders Forum hosted in Sacheon Branch, South Gyeongsang Province

On June 30, Sacheon Branch of South Gyeongsang Province (Branch Leader: Oh Mok Hwang) hosted a 21C Women Leaders Forum at Samcheonpo Ocean Tourist Hotel, attended by 255 heads of local organizations, leaders and residents.

The forum was emceed by Member Yu Na Seoh, and as the pre-event performance, Filipino and Japanese members sang congratulatory songs. The forum was begun with an the Korean Pledge of Allegiance, introduction of guests, a welcoming address given by Branch Leader Oh Mok Hwang (Sacheon), a congratulatory address by Deputy Speaker Dae Shik Han (City Council), words of encouragement from Chairman Seon Ho Jeong (South Gyeongsang Branch of Sansuwon Patriots Society), and a keynote speech by President Lan Young Moon.

The participants were impressed by the global activities of WFWP, and they expressed that they hoped for WFWP to nurture many active women leaders and for their activities to expand nationwide.

Following the forum held in the morning, Sacheon Branch held the Branch Leaders’ and Members’ Workshop of Sacheon Branch led by President Lan Young Moon. The workshop, held with the purpose of strengthening the organization of WFWP as well as expanding their local activities and reinforcing their joint activities, included a report on the worldwide activities of WFWP, followed by the speech of President Lan Young Moon, which provided an opportunity for the participants to make a new resolution and determination in regard to Vision 2020.
