지난 4월17일, 경남 진해지부(지부장:김명자)는 정우서 의원, 구성자 회장(여성단체) 등 지역의 단체장과 지도자 및 주민 210명이 참석한 가운데 진해 구민회관문화원에서 21C여성지도자포럼을 열었다.

이날 포럼은 박은희 사무국장(경남)이 사회로 개회, 국민의례, 귀빈소개, 축가, 김명자 지부장(진해)의 환영사, 정판용 부의장(도의회)의 축사, 김홍득 교구장(경남)의 격려사, 문난영 회장의 주제강연 순으로 진행되었다.  

“여성연합의 세계적인 활동에 놀랐다. 충, 효 ,열의 중심에 여성서는 시대인 것 같다. 적극적인 여성리더가 많이 양성하고 그 활동이 국민적 활동이 되기를 바란다.” 고 참석자들은 소감을 전했다.

21st C Women Leaders Forum in the Jinhae Branch, South Gyeongsang Province

On April 17, the Jinhae Branch (Branch Leader: Myeong Ja Kim) of South Gyeongsang Province hosted the 21st C Women Leaders Forum at the Jinhae Residents’ Hall and Culture Center, attended by 210 local residents, leaders and regional heads of organizations including Assemblyperson Woo Seo Jeong and Chairperson Seong Ja Gu (Women’s organization).

The Forum on this day was opened by the MC, Secretary-General Eun Hee Park, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to Korea, the introduction of the VIPs, a congratulatory song, a welcoming address by Branch Leader Myeong Ja Kim, a congratulatory address by Deputy Speaker Pan Yong Jeong of the Provincial Assembly, words of encouragement by Rev. Hong Deuk Kim (Regional Director of South Gyeongsang Province), and the keynote speech by President Lan Young Moon.

The participants expressed their impressions of participating in the Forum: “I was amazed by the global activities of the WFWP. I believe this is the era in which women will stand at the center of loyalty, filial piety and purity. I hope many active women leaders will be nurtured, and that their activities will expand to become nationwide activities.”
