제9차 한국간부워크숍이 11월 18일부터 11월 21까지 강원도 용평 그린피아에서 ‘새로운 10년을 출발하며’라는 주제로 개최되었다.

특히 이번 워크샵에서는 전국 구․ 도․ 시․ 군 지부장 300명이 참석하여 여성연합의 지난 20년을 돌아보며 새로운 10년의 활동 방향성을 모색하였다.

첫째날, 개회식에서는 최영선 사무총장의 사회, 공로표창장 및 신임 지부장 임명장 수여, 박근령 전 이사장의 환영사, 문난영 회장의 개회특강이 있었다.

개회특강에서 문난영 회장은 “인류 평화를 위해 여성의 힘이 필요하며, 여성과 어린이에 대한 활동에 역점을 두고 활동해 전력투구, 실천궁행 하며 나가자”고 말했다.

이 후 전국 18개 지역별 1년 활동보고로 활동 내용을 공유하는 시간을 가졌다.

둘째날에는 원로 선배이신 박영숙 전 부회장의 특강, 힐링타임1에서는 곤돌라를 타고 발왕산에 올랐으며, 저녁 힐링타임2에서는 를 통해 전국 지부장들의 재능과 끼를 발산하며 화합의 한마당을 열였다.

마지막 날에는 올해로 4년째 진행되고 있는 지부특성화사업 보고를 통해 지역에서 벤치 마킹 할 수 있는 보고 시간이 있었으며, 2박3일의 모든 일정을 마무리하는 폐회식을 끝으로 재9차 한국간부워크숍의 모든 일정을 마쳤다.

The 9th Korean Executives’ Workshop held

The 9th Korean Executives’ Workshop was held from November 18 to 21 at the Greenpia Condominium in Yongpyeong, Gangwon Province, under the title, ‘Beginning a New Decade’.

In particular, the Workshop was attended by 300 Branch Leaders of districts, provinces, cities and counties across Korea, who came together to reflect on the past 20 years of the WFWP and to discuss the direction of their activities for the new decade.

On the first day, the opening ceremony, emceed by Secretary-General Young Sun Choi, included the presentation of plaques for meritorious service and appointments as new Branch Leaders, a welcoming address given by Advisor Geun Ryeong Park, and a special lecture delivered by President Lan Young Moon.

In her talk, President Lan Young Moon stated, “The power of women is necessary in bringing about peace for humanity. Focusing on activities for women and children, let us march forward, investing ourselves completely in our work and translating our words into action.”

Afterwards, reports of the past year in the 18 regions in Korea were given, and the participants had a chance to share about their respective activities.

On the second day, an elder and senior member, former Vice-President Yeong Sook Park, gave a special talk, and during the ‘Healing Hour,’ the participants took the gondola to the top of Mt. Balwang. In the evening, the was held, through which Branch Leaders from all parts of Korea had an opportunity to show off their hidden talents, and the participants to harmonize and make merry.

On the last day, a session was held to report on the Specialized Branch Projects, begun four years ago, through which the participants got a chance to benchmark what the other regions were doing. The 9th Korean Executives’ Workshop concluded with a closing ceremony, which brought the inspiring two nights and three days of the Workshop to an end.
