보성지부(지부장:기미꼬)는 지난 11월 22일 보성문화원에서 을 열었다.

지역 지도자 245명이 참석한 포럼은 김양순 사무국장의 사회, 사또 기미꼬 지부장(보성)의 환영사, 선병진 의장(보성군)의 축사, 손숙희 지부장(광주 전남도)의 격려사, 문난영 회장의 강연 순으로 개최 되었다.

포럼에 참석한 보성군의 초등학교장들과 많은 지역 단체장들은 여성단체로 큰 활동을 하고 있는 여성연합의 UN지위에 대하여 놀라워 했고 좋은 강연에 초대해준 것을 감사해했다.

이에 회원들 또한 우리의 자랑스러운 세계적 활동에 감격하며 지역에서 더 많은 활동에 힘쓰기를 다짐하기도 했다.

Gwangju, Jeonnam Bosung Branch

The Bosung Branch (Branch Director: Sato Kimiko) hosted a 21C Women Leaders Forum at the Bosung Culture Center on November 22th.

245 local leaders participated in the Forum which was presided over by Kim Yang-soon. Branch Director Sato Kimiko opened the forum with a welcoming address followed by addresses from Chairperson Sun Byoung-jin (Bosung County), Provincial Director Son Sook-hee (Gwangju Jeonnam), and a very special presentation by President Moon.

Many local leaders from Bosung County were surprised to learn about the great activities of the WFWP and of its General Consultative Status with the UN, and they expressed their gratitude for the invitation to this Forum.

Our members also were impressed by the global activities of the WFWP and they renewed their willingness to engage in more activities in the local area.
