영광지부(지부장:장종금)는 11월21일 영빈 웨딩홀에서 지역 지도자 182명이 참석한 가운데을 개최하였다.

포럼은 하타나카 노리코 회원의 사회를 시작으로 다문화합창단의 축송, 장종금 지부장(영광)의 환영사, 이경수 지부장(천주평화연합), 손숙희 지부장(광주 전남도)의 격려사, 문난영 회장의 강연으로 진행되었다.

영광지부는 17명의 회원으로 구성된 소규모 지부이지만 매주 지역 11개 면을 순회를 하면 쑥뜸봉사를 활동을 꾸준히 하며 여성연합의 명성을 만들어가는 작지만 거대한 영향력을 가진 지부로 활동력을 키워가고 있다.

Gwangju, Jeonnam Younggwang Branch

The Younggwang Branch (Branch Director: Jang Jong-guem) hosted a 21st Century Women Leaders Forum at the Youngbin Wedding Hall on November 14th.

The Forum was presided over by Hatanaka Noriko. With music by the multicultural choir, Branch Director Jang Jong-guem opened the forum with a welcoming address followed by addresses by Director Lee Gyeong-su (Catholic Peace Union), Provincial Director Son Sook-hee (Gwangju Jeonnam), and a very special presentation by President Moon.

The Younggwang Branch consists of only 17 members. However, their various and active participation in local events has made the WFWP very popular in the area.
