지난 7월20일 광주전남 장흥지부(지부장:김건숙)는 장흥농협에서 라는 주제로 개최하였다.

지역 지도자 206명 참석한 가운데 정순자 회원의 사회로 시작한 포럼은 김건숙 지부장(장흥군)의 환영사, 이명흡 군수, 김복실 의원(장흥군), 고흥천 조합장(농협), 황월현 의장(장흥군의회)의 축사, 순숙희 지부장(광주`전남)의 격려사에 이어 문난영 회장의 주제강연으로 이어졌다.

장흥지부는 이번 포럼을 준비하면서 새롭게 지부의 조직을 재정비하였으며 포럼으로 인연되어진 분들과의 끈을 놓지 않고 지역활동에 박차를 가하겠다는 의지를 전했다.

Gwangju Jeonnam Jangheung Branch held a 21C Women Leaders Forum

On July 20, Gwangju Jeonnam Jangheung Branch held a 21C Women Leaders Forum at Jangheung Nonghyup (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation) under the title of "Humankind is One Family in a Peaceful World."

Participating in the Forum were 206 people. Jung Soon-ja was MC. The schedule included welcoming remarks by Jangheung Branch Manager Kim Gun-sook, congratulatory speeches by Governor Lee Myung-heup, Committee member Kim Bok-sil Jangheung, Nonghyup Union representative Go Heung-cheon, and Hwang Wol-hyun, president of the Jangheung Military Assembly. Words of encouragement were given by Jeonnam Branch Manager Son Sook-hee Gwangju. The main lecture was presented by WFWPI President Moon.

Through this Forum the Jangheung Branch had a chance to reorganize itself, and expressed their inspiration to take care of the people who have become associated with WFWP.
