지난 2011년 1월7일 본 연합 사무실에서 강남서초 주간지인 내일신문과의 인터뷰가 있었다. 문난영 회장은 인터뷰를 통해 여성연합의 창설이념과 UN NGO 제1영역 단체로서 UN이 지향하는 ‘새천년발달목표’에 따른 전 세계 지부의 활동을 소개했다.

또한 지금의 21C는 고유의 감성과 슬기가 필요한 여성의 시대임을 강조하면서, 여성의 힘이 국가 경쟁력이 되는 시대이고 양성과 교육에 따른 여성지도자 배출에 대한 의지를 전했다.

Naeil (Tomorrow) Newspaper Interview

Last January 7, 2011, there was an interview at the WFWP International HQ with Naeil Newspaper which is a weekly magazine in the Gangnam/Seocho area. Through the interview, Pres. Moon introduced the founding spirit of WFWP and WFWP’s global activities which are based on the UN 'MDGs (Millennium Development Goals)' as a NGO in general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the UN.

She also emphasized that we are in the women's era which calls for women's unique sensitivity and wisdom. Women's strength enhances national competitiveness, she said, and stressed leadership training and education.
