1월 11일, 세계평화여성연합은 전국 120여명의 간부들이 모인 가운데 2011년을 시작하는 신년하례회를 가졌다.

최영선 사무총장의 사회로 시작한 이날 신년하례회는 새해를 축하하는 떡 커팅과 덕담을 나누기, 자축하는 의미로 박미화 중앙위원 회장의 건배제의가 있었다.

문난영 회장은 신년인사를 통해 "총재님의 관심과 사랑에 힘입어 새해에도 더 열심을 다하는 우리의 모습이 돼야겠다."라고 말하며 여성연합 활동에 최선을 다해 줄 것을 당부했다.

이어 12월 본부 및 지부활동보고와 2011년 한해 본부에서 계획하고 있는 21C 여성지도자포럼과 동지부장 교육 및 통일교육, 지부 특성화사업에 대한 내용으로 토의가 진행되었으며, 2011년 여성연합 전 세계 회원들이 함께 평화세계 구현을 위해 마음을 모아 규합하자고 다짐하는 시간이 되었다.

2011 New Year's Meeting

WFWP leaders nationwide attended the New Year's Meeting, which was held for 120 branch managers and directors on January 11.

SG Choi was MC. There was a rice cake cutting and Central Committee Pres. Pak Mi-hwa offered a toast for the new year. In her new year greetings Pres. Moon said "We are indebted to the founders' support and love, so we should do our utmost again this year in our WFWP activities.”

This was followed by a report on December HQ and branches activities, 2011 HQ plans, a 21C Women Leaders Forum, Dong-unit-level Training and Unification Education. Branch Specialization Activities were reported and discussed. It was a meaningful time to rally all the leaders' hearts in the continuing work for real peace.
