충남지부(지부장:변순옥)는 지부별로 다양한 지역 활동을 전개하고 있다.

아산지부(지부장:길정희)는 지난 4월 21일, 도고면 농가에서 ‘농촌 일손돕기’ 봉사를 했다. 이날 지부장과 회원들은 서툰 솜씨지만 농가를 돕고자 하는 마음으로 포도나무 정리, 블랙베리 묘목 비닐 씌우기 등 봉사활동을 했다.

당진지부(지부장:박말례)는 4월 13일 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 기금 만들기 위해서 바자회를 열었다. 이날 행사에는 회원 자녀들이 함께 참여하여 바자회 진행을 도왔다. 작은 고사리 손으로 돕는 바자회는 학생들에게 좋은 경험의 시간이 되었다.

보령지부(지부장:이순일) 4월 13일, 보령시내 상가에서 특히 이날 회원들은 지역주민들에게 직접 만든 딸기쥬스와 딸기잼 샌드위치를 제공하면 ‘지구가족사랑1%운동’ 홍보활동을 했다.

선문대학지부(지부장:홍명숙)는 4월 10일과 24일, 선문대학교 학생회관 지하 카프센터에서 지난학기에 이어서 ‘엄마가 쏜데이’ 행사를 진행하였다. 학생들의 활동을 응원하고 격려하며 어려운 학생 돕는 행사로 월 2회, 점심식사를 제공하는 봉사활동으로 진행하고 있다. 150명 학생은 여성연합 회원들이 집에서 조리해온 카레라이스, 짜장밥 등 간단한 식사이지만 정성 담은 식사를 너무 맛있게 먹었고 엄마 같은 회원들과 근황을 이야기 하며 즐거운 시간을 가졌다. 

The South Choongcheong Branch

Branches under the South Choongcheong Branch (Branch Leader: Soon Ok Byeon) are carrying out various local activities.

The Asan Branch (Branch Leader: Jeong Hee Gil) took part in the ‘Lending a Helping Hand to Farmers Event’ at the farms of Dogo-myeon on April 21. On this day, though they were unskilled at farm work, the branch leader and members participated in such work as pruning grapevines and putting vinyl covers on blackberry saplings to help out the farmers wholeheartedly.

The Dangjin Branch (Branch Leader: Mal Rye Park) held a bazaar to prepare funds for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ on April 13. Not only the members, but also their children helped out in running the bazaar. It was a wonderful experience for the young students, providing them with the opportunity to help out with their small innocent hands.

The Boryeong Branch (Branch Leader: Soon Il Lee) held an event on April 13 to do PR for the ‘1% Love Share Project’ at the marketplace in downtown Boryeong, where the members handed out to local residents strawberry juice and strawberry-jam sandwiches they had personally made for the occasion.

The Sun Moon University Branch (Branch Leader: Myeong Sook Hong) held an event titled "Mom’s Buying" on April 10 and 24, in continuation of last semester’s event, at the CARP Center, located in the basement of the Student Center in Sun Moon University. It is a volunteer service event through which the members provide a homemade lunch twice a month to cheer up and encourage the students in their hard work and to help out the students in need. 150 students thoroughly enjoyed the food prepared with a maternal heart by the WFWP members at their homes, though the meals were simple dishes like curry and rice and black bean sauce and rice, and they had a wonderful time talking about their everyday lives with the branch members, who were like their own mothers to them.
