강원지부(지부장:박선희)는 지역별 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있다.

춘천지부(지부장:시노하라 치오)는 매주 목요일에는 월드비젼과 춘천시 장애인복지센터에서 종이접기를 가르쳐 드리고 있다. 또한 4월 18일에는 일본어를 가르치고 배우고 있는 지역 여성들과 함께 미화봉사를 전개 했다. 5월 23일에는 일본요리‘오코노미야키’를 만들어 동네 경로당과 주변상가에 나눠 드리는 음식 나눔 봉사를 하였다.

평창지부(지부장:양영숙)는 다문화가정 회원 19명이 참석한 가운데 지부장을 중심으로 모여 4월 13일에는 ‘감자탕’을 5월 18일에는 ‘아귀탕’을 만드는 요리교실을 열었다. 

철원지부(지부장:이희숙)는 매일 월~토요일에 8명의 회원이 푸드 뱅크 봉사를 지속적으로 하고 있다.

태백지부(지부장:사사끼 끼미꼬)는 13명의 회원가정이 자녀들과 함께 매주 토요일 마다 100 ~ 150개의 빵을 노인회관과 황지 연못공원에 계시는 어르신에게 나누어 드리는 봉사를 했다. 4월 12일에는 강원랜드와 도박중독 쉼터를 찾아 가서 ‘도박중독 예방 캠페인과 빵 나누기 행사’를 하였다. 또한 5월 24일에는 2014 지역사회와 함께하는 문화 나눔 릴레이 ‘기분 좋은 동행’에서 태백지역에 문화행사를 위해 다문화부스를 운영하였다. 

화천지부(지부장:김윤수)는 4월 26일 회원 10명은 릴레이 봉사로 진행하고 있는‘화천읍 상1,3리 노인정’을 방문하여 건강박수와 안마 봉사를 하였으며, 화천 하남면 원광보훈집과 상서면 간동 살랑골에서는 미용봉사를 하였다.  

동해지부(지부장:핫도리 미즈에)는 4월 12일~13일 회원 7명이 ‘제12회 유천국제문화축제’에 참석하였다. 유천국제문화축제는 동해시에서 매년 개최되고 있는 벚꽃 축제인 ‘유천 국제문화축제’에 동해지부 회원들은 일본 전통춤과 필리핀의 노래로 전야제에 참석하였으며, 부스를 운영하여 지역주민들에 일본과 필리핀 전통음식을 제공하면서 여성연합을 홍보하였다.     

삼척지부(지부장:히가시 히로꼬)는 4월 5일과 26일 삼척시 ‘나리골 노인정’을 찾아가 청소봉사를 하였다. 5월 15일에는 ‘삼척버스터미널’에서 5월 23일에는 ‘삼척초등학교’ 앞에서 봉사활동을 하였다.                                  

강릉지부(지부장:이정일)는 매주 1회 문화강좌 열고 있으며 지역봉사활동으로 초당 경로당의 어르신들에게는 쑥 찜질과 해피헬스 봉사도 전개하고 있다. 앞으로 문화강좌에서 플루트, 오카리나, 뜨개질 강좌도 진행할 예정이다. 

원주지부(지부장:서동효)는 4월 25일, ‘봉산동 노인정’을 찾아가 어르신들을 위한 마사지와 해피헬스 봉사를 하였다.

고성지부(지부장:고이케 가즈요)는 회원들은 정성스런 마음으로 직접 만든 빵을 만들어 고성군 ‘거진읍 10리 마을회관’을 방문하여 청소를 했다. 

The Gangwon Branch

The Gangwon Branch (Branch Leader: Seon Hee Park) is carrying out various local activities.

The Chooncheon Branch (Branch Leader: Chiho Shinohara) visits the World Vision and the Chooncheon Welfare Center for the Disabled every Thursday to give origami classes. In addition, on April 18 they carried out city beautification work together with local women who are teaching and learning Japanese with them. On May 23, they carried out a food-sharing service where they made a Japanese dish, ‘Okonomiyaki’, and distributed it to local senior centers and neighboring stores.

The Pyeongchang Branch (Branch Leader: Yeong Sook Yang) held cooking classes  to make ‘Korean Potato Stew’ on April 13, and ‘Anglerfish Stew’ on May 18, which was led by the branch leader and attended by nineteen members from multicultural families.

The Cheolwon Branch (Branch Leader: Hee Sook Lee) is regularly taking part in the Food Bank campaign, in which eight members participate every day, from Monday to Saturday

Thirteen members of the Taebaek Branch (Branch Leader: Kimiko Sasaki) gather every Saturday together with their children to distribute 100 to 150 loaves of bread to the elderly in senior centers or in Hwangji Pond Park. On April 12, they visited Gangwon Land and the Gambling Addiction Center to hold the ‘Prevention of Gambling Addiction Campaign and Bread-Sharing Event’. And on May 24, they set up a multicultural booth for cultural events in the Taebaek region at the ‘Pleasant Partnership’ event, which is a culture-sharing relay event being held in 2014 and in which local communities participate.

Ten members of the Hwacheon Branch (Branch Leader: Yoon Soo Kim) visited the ‘Hwacheon-eup Sang 1- and 3-ri Senior Center’ on April 26 to carry out a healthy clapping exercise and massage service, which is a volunteer service the members are taking turns to carry out regularly. They also performed a haircutting service at the ‘Won Gang Veterans’ Home’ in Hanam-myeon, Hwacheon, and Salranggol of Gan-dong, Sangseoh-myeon.

Seven members of the Donghae Branch (Branch Leader: Mizue Hattori) took part in the ‘12th Yucheon International Cultural Festival’ held from April 12 to 13. The Yucheon International Cultural Festival is a cherry blossom festival hosted every year by Donghae City, and members of the Donghae Branch participated in the pre-event by giving performances of Japanese traditional dances and singing Filipino songs. They also set up a booth where they provided the local residents with Japanese and Filipino traditional food and promoted the WFWP.

The Samcheok Branch (Branch Leader: Hiroko Higashi) visited the ‘Narigol Elders’ Home’ and carried out a cleaning service on April 5 and 26. They also did volunteer work at the ‘Samcheok Bus Terminal’ on May 15 and in front of ‘Samcheok Elementary School’ on May 23.

The Gangreung Branch (Branch Leader: Jeong Il Lee) gives cultural classes once a week, and they also carry out local service work by performing a treatment service using moxa poultices and Happy Health for senior citizens at the Cho Dang Elders’ Hall. As a part of their cultural curriculum, they also plan to give classes in playing the flute and ocarina, and in knitting.

The Wonju Branch (Branch Leader: Dong Hyo Seoh) visited the ‘Bongsan-dong Senior Center’ on April 25 to perform a massage service and a Happy Health treatment service for the elderly.

Members of the Goseong Branch (Branch Leader: Katsuyo Koike) visited the ‘Geojin-eup 10-ri Community Center’ in Goseong-gun with bread they had personally baked at home with wholehearted devotion, where they also carried outa cleaning service.
