재단법인 선학장학재단(이사장:문연아)의 ‘2014 정기총회 및 장학증서 수여식’이 지난 3월 29일 여성연합 4층 세미나실에서 120여명이 참석한 가운데 개최하였다.

이날 수여식은 최영선 이사(선학장학재단)의 사회로 시작되어 경과보고, 동영상, 문연아 이사장의 인사말씀, 문난영 세계회장(여성연합)의 격려사, 설용수 회장(남북통일운동국민연합)의 ‘21세기 한민족의 통일과 미래’라는 제목의 특강, 결산보고, 남춘홍 감사의 감사보고, 장학증서 수여의 순서로 진행 되었다. 여성연합 전국지부, 다문화종합복지센타, 세계평화통일가정연합 청년학생국, 북한이탈주민 대학생(4명), 유학생, 전국 시․군․구 기초수급 복지 장학생 및 서울시 교육청 추천 등, 68명의 학생에게 7천만 원의 장학금과 장학증서를 전달하였다.

The ‘2014 Annual General Assembly and Presentation Ceremony of Scholarship Certificates’ of the Sunhak Scholarship Foundation (Chief Director: Yeon Ah Moon) was held on March 29 in the fourth-floor seminar room of the WFWP, with 120 people in attendance.

The presentation ceremony was  begun by the MC, Director Yeong Seon Choi (Sunhak Scholarship Foundation), and after a progress report and a video screening, Chief Director Yeon Ah Moon gave an address, which was followed by words of encouragement given by WFWP International President Lan Young Moon,  a special lecture given by Chairman Yong Soo Seol (The Citizens’ Federation for the Unification of the Fatherland) titled ‘Unification and the Future of the Korean People in the 21st Century’, a roundup report, an audit report given by Auditor Choon Hong Nam, and the presentation of scholarships.

Scholarships and scholarship certificates amounting to 70 million won were presented to 68 students selected from WFWP branches across Korea, the Multicultural Integrated Welfare Center, the Youth and Students Department of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, college students who have defected from North Korea (four students), foreign students, scholarship students from low income homes registered under the city, district and town offices in Korea, and those recommended by the Seoul Office of Education.
