목포지부는 지난 11월 13일 용호초등학교 체육관에서 제3회 다문화가족과 함께하는 「어울림 한마당」 체육대회를 개최 했다.

한국을 포함한 12개국 이주여성들과 그 가족 300여명이 함께한 가운데 진행된 체육대회는 이노우에 유카리 지부장(목포시)의 환영사, 민복례 회장(새 세대여성단체연합회)의 축사, 손숙희 지부장(광주전남)의 격려사 순으로 진행되었다.

김치냉장고와 자전거 등 행운권 상품 시상이 있었으며, 지역 봉사단체로부터는 지역의 뜻있는 행사라며 저렴한 가격에 지원을 받은 도시락과 간식을 참석자 전원에게 나누어 주었다. 목포지부는 바르게 살기 협의회 회장, 여성단체 회장들과 목포해양대학교 교수님들이 함께 자리하여 격려로 진행된 이번 체육대회를 계기로 인연된 지역의 시청복지과, 다문화가정지원센터와의 지속적 관계를 갖고 활동하겠다는 포부를 전달했다.

Gwangju and Jeollanam-do Mokpo Branch “Oulim Hanmadang” Athletic Competition

The Mokpo branch held the 3rd Oulim Hanmadang Athletic Competition with multicultural families at Yongho Elementary School on Nov. 13. International marriage immigrant wives from 11 countries with their family members attended, bringing about 300 people. Mokpo Branch Manager Inoue Yukari gave welcoming remarks, President Min Bok-rye of the New Generation Women’s Organization Federation offered congratulatory remarks, and Gwangju and Jeollanam-do Branch Manager Son Suk-hee gave encouraging remarks.

There was also a drawing for a kimchi refrigerator, bicycle, etc. WFWP distributed box lunches and refreshments provided inexpensively by a local service group. The Bareuge Salgi Committee president, several women organization presidents, and Mokpo National Maritime University professors attended this time.

The Mokpo Branch made a promise that they will work more diligently in cooperation with the City Hall Social Work Office and the Multicultural Family Support Center, which were both related with this opportunity.
