전북 장수지부에서는 9월10일~13일에 있었던 장수 음식장터에 다양한 먹거리(추어탕, 잔치국수, 일본카레, 필리핀 음식기나타안, 팝콘, 슬러시, 옥수수, 커피)를 준비하여 「지구가족사랑 1%운동」사업을 하였다.

장수군에서는 음식장터 천막 6개 동과 의자, 전기 및 수도시설을 무료로 제공해 주었으며, 이남희 부지부장(전북도)을 중심으로 기누요 지부장(장수), 박영임 부지부장(장수), 한지희 부지부장(장수), 요꼬 회장(일본부인회), 카테린 회장(필리핀부인회)등 전 회원이 하나 되어 단합회를 하는 맘으로 참여하였다.

3일간의 사업을 통해 장수군민들에게 세계평화여성연합의 활동과 장수다문화가정희망센터를 알리고 회원들의 단합된 모습과 성실히 봉사하는 모습을 알리는 좋은 기회가 되었다.

또한 다문화가정은 항상 도움을 받기만 한다는 이미지를 바꾸고 세계평화를 위해 봉사하는 모습을 보여 줄 수 있는 계기가 되었다.

수익금이 많지 않지만 수익금 3백 만원 중 일부는 세계재난어린이 돕기 운동에 보내고, 암투병을 하고 있는 일본회원에게 성금으로 전달하였으며, 연세 많으신 어르신들께 추석선물을 마련해 전달해 드리기도 했다.

Jeollabuk-do Jangsu Branch's 1 % Love Share Project at the Korean Native Cattle and Apple Festival

The Jeollabuk-do Jangsu Branch held a '1 % Love Share Campaign' selling chueotang fish stew, banquet noodle soup, Japanese curry, a Filipino dish ginataan, popcorn, slush drinks, corn, and coffee at the "Korean Native Cattle and Apple Festival" from Sep. 10-13. Jangsu-gun County made available the food market place's 6,000 chairs, tents, electricity and water supply. Vice Branch Manager Lee Nam-hee (Jeollabuk-do), Jangsu Branch Manager Kinuyo, Assistant Branch Manager Park Young-im, Vice Branch Manager Han Ji-hee, the Japanese Wives Committee and Filipina Wives Committee representatives and all the WFWP members worked very hard. It was a good opportunity to let the community know about WFWP activities and the Jangsu Multicultural Family Hope Center, and to enhance the members’ unity and service. Also, it was a good opportunity to change the image of the multicultural family as those receiving help, by offering service towards world peace.
