축제의 달 10월! 울산 다문화가정 사랑나눔회가 주최한 제1회 행사가 감동의 축제로 성대히 거행되었다.

10월16일(토) 현대백화점 10층 아토리움홀에서 약500명의 관중이 입장한 가운데 한국, 일본, 몽골, 캄보디아, 필리핀, 베트남 6개국 다문화가정들이 펼친 공연은 박수와 함성으로 가득찼다.

1부 행사는 김승희 사무국장의 사회로 시작하여 김영화 지부장(울산)의 인사에 이어 조용수 구청장(울산중구)과 이금식 이사장(경암문화장학재단)의 축사가 있었고 각 기관단체장 40명이 참석하여 축하해 주었다.

또한 김문호, 기무라 꾜우꼬씨의 사회로 진행된 2부는 천년의 소리라는 주제로 대고 공연과 다문화합창단의 합창, 다문화가정 2세들이 펼치는 웅변과 노래와 춤은 아낌없는 박수를 받기에 충분했다. 이어서 각 국가별 민속춤, 민요 등이 펼쳐졌고 마지막으로 돌핀스밴드가 신나는 연주를 하자 객석에 있던 내빈들은 손에 손을 잡고 울산아리랑을 힘차게 합창하였다. 내년 제2회는 더 많은 국가들이 참석하는 행사를 하자고 결의를 하며 행사를 마감했다.

Ulsan Branch 2010 International Culture Society Festival

Month of festivals, October! The Ulsan Multicultural Family Sharing Love Meeting hosted the 1st 2010 International Culture Society Festival. Six countries' multicultural families from Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Cambodia, Philippines, and Vietnam performed before an audience of about 500, who gave big applause and cheers, on Oct. 16 at the Hyundai Department Store Atrium Hall. Director Kim Seung-hee was MC, Branch Manager Kim Young-hwa (Ulsan) gave greetings, Ulsan Jungo-gu chief Jo Yong-su and Gyeongam Culture Scholarship Foundation Chairman of the Board Lee Geum-sik gave a welcoming address.

Forty group leaders attended and gave congratulations. For the second portion of the program the theme was “Millennium Sounds.” Kim Moon-ho and Kimura Kyoko served as MC, and the program consisted of a daego (big drum) performance, a multicultural choir, multicultural family children's speech, song, and dance. The wonderful performances received much applause. Then, each country's folklore dance and folk song were performed.

Finally the Dolphins Band performed Ulsan Arirang, and all the guests sang together hand in hand. The festival closed with the members resolving to bring more representatives to the second festival, next year.
