'2013 도란도란 통일기행'이 10월15일, 서울 동대문지부 43명의 회원들이 참석한 가운데 민통선 해마루촌과 제3땅굴 견학일정으로 진행되었다. 통일교육협의회 지원사업으로 지역 여성들에게 현장교육을 통해 통일의 필요성을 생각해보는 시간이 되었다.

이날 교육은 동대문지부 교육관에서 탈북민협회 박영학 대표로부터 북한에서의 생활, 탈북과정과 그 후 제3국에서의 생활, 중국에서의 탈북자들의 인권유린 등 현실의 심각한 상황에 대한 강의가 있었다. 이후 해마루촌으로 이동 후 그 지역의 주민이자, 기행해설가로부터 해미루촌에 대한 설명을 듣고 제3땅굴을 견학하는 일정으로 진행되었다.

2013 Doran Doran Unification Trip

The ‘2013 Doran Doran Unification Trip’ was held on October 15 in the form of a field trip to the Haemaru Village located in the CCL (Civilian Control Line) and the Third Tunnel, and was attended by 43 members of Dongdaemun Branch, Seoul.

The trip is a workshop sponsored by the Unification Education Council, and it provided an opportunity for local women to think about the necessity of unification through this on-the-scene workshop. It began with a lecture given by Mr. Yeong Hak Park (Head of North Korean Defectors Association) in the Dongdaemun Branch Education Center on the serious situation of the present, including living in North Korea, the process of defecting from North Korea and living in a third country afterwards, and the human rights violations against North Korean defectors in China.

After that, the participants visited the Haemaru Village and listened to an explanation of the village from a resident of the district, who is also a unification activist and a travel commentator, and then took a field trip to the Third Tunnel.
