12월 28일(화) 세종로 정부종합청사 별관 3층 국제회의장에서 개최된 2010년 에서 본 연합 홍성순 부회장이 통일부장관상을 수상했다.

통일교육협의회 이사· 여성분과위원장으로 활발한 통일운동의 공로가 인정되었기에통일부장관상을 수상하는 실적을 거두었다. 이날 현인택 통일부 장관은 시상을 마친 후 ‘정부가 자신감을 갖고 우리의 원칙을 세워나갈 수 있었던 것은 국민들의 성숙한 의식과 대북정책에 대한 지지가 있었기 때문’이라는 인사말로 수상자들을 격려 하였다.

수여식 후에는 국무위원 식당에서 통일교육원장 주재로 수상자 및 수상자 가족 오찬이 진행되었다.

Vice President Hong, Sung-soon Awarded the Minister of Unification Prize

Dec. 28, 2010, the “Government Award to a Person of Merit for Unification Education” was held at Sejongno annex to the Integrated Government Building, and our VP Hong Sung-soon was given the Minister of Unification Award.

In recognition of her steady efforts for the unification of North and South Korea as a director and a women department chairperson, the Unification Education Council, she received the Minister of Unification Prize. On that day after the award ceremony, Minister of Unification Hyun In-taek encouraged prize winners: "The government can confidently maintain our own principle due to our people's mature sense of citizenship and support for our policy towards North Korea.

" A luncheon for prize winners and their families was held by the Unification Education President at the cabinet members’ restaurant.
