지난 10월25일 쌀쌀한 날씨에 몸과 마음을 따뜻하게 해주는 차 한 잔 처럼, 작은 정성을 모아 준비한 「지구가족사랑1% 운동」일일카페가 본 연합 중앙위원들의 주최로 통일교 빌딩 1층 로비에서 열렸다.

이 날 중앙위원들은 전 세계의 굶주림과 질병에 시달리는 여성과 어린이를 돕는데 써달라며 다양한 먹거리와 차를 판매한 수익금 및 후원금 전액 3백9만원을 「지구가족사랑 1%운동」 기금으로 전달하였다.

중앙위원은 본 연합의 21C여성지도자양성과정 교육을 이수한 수료생으로 구성되었으며, 2007년 3월에 1기를 시작하여 현재까지 6기까지 수료하였다.

양성과정의 교육은 국제정세와 여성정치, 통일정세에 관한 전문가들의 강의를 들을 수 있고 해외 여성지도자들과 교류 및 자매결연, 현장 봉사활동 프로그램으로 진행되고 있다.

HQ Central Committee 1% Love Share Project, “One Day Cafe”

Last Oct. 25, a 1％ Love Share Project “One-Day Cafe,” named for a cup of coffee that warms the body and heart in cold weather, was held by the HQ Central Committee at the 1st floor lobby of the FFWPU Building. They had prepared this for a month in advance with much heart. The Central Committee consists of those who completed the WFWP HQ's 21C Women Leaders Training Course, from the 1st-term trainees who started in March 2007 to the 6th-term trainees who recently finished their course. Training programs included a talk on world affairs, women's politics and unification, an overseas women leaders exchange and sisterhood, and a field trip to do volunteer work.
