9월 16일(목) 경기도 파주 도라산 남북출입사무소(CIQ)를 통해 본 연합은 한국걸스카우트연맹, 한민족공동체재단, 한국교총 등의 민족화해협력범국민협의회(민화협) 회원단체들과 함께 북한 수재민을 돕기 위해 밀가루 530톤(본 연합 100톤)을 개성 에 전달했다. 밀가루는 북한 개성 지역 아동기관 등 취약계층, 황해남도 배천군의 수해지역 주민들에게 전달될 예정이며, 10월 중에 유아용 분유와 쌀, 밀가루 등을 추가로 지원할 계획이다.

North Korean People Emergency Food Support - Flour Sent to Flooded Area

WFWP HQ, Girls Scouts Korea, the Korean Community Foundation, and the Korean Federation of Teachers' Associations, and others who are members of the Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation (KCRC), delivered flour (130 tons, and WFWP donated 100 tons of that) to Gaesong, North Korea, to help flood victims, it passed through CIQ, Dorasan, Paju, Gyeonggi-do, on Sep. 16. The flour will be delivered to a children’s institution in Gaesong, to some of the destitute, and to North Koreans who live in Baecheon-gun, Hwanghaenam-do, a flood area. Within October, we plan to deliver dry baby milk, rice, flour, etc., as additional support.
