11월 14일 영암지부(지부장:시미즈 요오꼬)는 라는 주제로 을 영암군 노인복지회관에서 개최 하였다.

이날 영암군을 대표한 여성단체장들과 다문화가정 지도위원을 비롯한 143명이 참석한 포럼은 우브가따 후미요 회원의 사회를 시작으로 시미즈 요오꼬 지부장(영안군) 환영사, 김일태 군수(영암군), 박영배 의장(영암군)의 축사, 손숙희 지부장(광주 전남도)격려사에 이어 주제문난영 회장 라는 주제로 강연이 진행되었다.

포럼에 참석한 지역 지도자들은 여성연합의 활동에 관심을 보이며 영암지부의 다문화 활동에 협조와 관심을 가질 것이라며 좋은 인연을 만들어 가자고 했다.

영암지부는 다문화 가정 여성들로 구성된 지부로 일본 ․ 필리핀 회원으로만 구성되어 활동하고 있으며, 지역 지도자들에게 다문화가정 활동에 관심을 촉구하며 지속적인 방문 활동을 진행하고 있다.

Gwangju, Jeonnam Youngam Branch

The Jeonnam Youngam branch (Branch Director: Shimizu Yuko) hosted a 21st Century Women Leaders Forum with the theme, “Humankind is One Family in a Peaceful World” at the Youngam Hall for the Elderly on November 14.

143 people, including women leaders from Youngam County and committee members of multicultural families participated in the Forum which was presided over by Ubukata Fumiyo. Branch Director Shimizu Yuko opened the Forum with a welcoming address which was followed by addresses from Governor Kim Il-tae (Youngam County), Provincial Director Son Sook-hee (Gwangju Jeonnam), and a very special presentation on the theme, “Humankind is One Family in a Peaceful World”, by President Moon.

The participants showed their interest in the activities of the WFWP and expressed their wish to establish a good relationship with the WFWP to get support for multicultural activities from the Youngam Branch.

The Youngam Branch consists of multicultural members from Japan and the Philippines. The Branch encourages local leaders to expand multicultural activities and makes regular visits to local families.
