광주 전남 여수지부(지부장:박순희) 는 11월 9일 디오션리조트 금오도 홀에서 을 열었다.

이날 여수시 지도자들 100명이 참석한 포럼은 최봉순 회원의 사회, 참사랑 합창단의 축송, 박순희 지부장(여수시)의 환영사, 김충석 시장(여수시)의 축사, 순속희 도지부장(광주`전남)의 격려사, 문난영 회장의 강연으로 이어졌다.

문난영 회장은 라는 주제로 “지난 인류의 역사는 갈등과 투쟁의 역사였으나 21C는 여성의 어머니의 사랑과 화합으로 참사랑 운동을 확산 시켜야하는 시대이다“라고 전했다.

서석준 전 노동청 여수지청장은 여성행사에 처음 참석하였으며 먼저는 “여성연합의 세계적인 활동에 놀라고, 문난영 회장 강의에 감명 받았다. 또한 여성연합이 UN NGO 자문기관으로서 사랑과 봉사의 선봉자로 큰 성업을 이루기를 바란다.”고 참석 소감을 말했다.

Gwangju, Jeonnam Yeosu Branch < 21st Century Women Leaders Forum >

The Gwangju Jeonnam Yeosu Branch (Branch Director: Soon-hee Park) hosted a 21st Century Women Leaders Forum at the Geumodo Hall of the Ocean Resort on November 9th.

100 leaders from Yeosu City participated in the Forum which was presided over by Choi Bong-soon. With music by the True Love Choir, Branch Director Park Soon-hee opened the Forum with a welcoming address, which was followed by addresses by Mayor Kim Choong-suk (City of Yeosu), Provincial Director Son Sook-hee (Gwangju Jeonnam), and a very special presentation by President Moon Lan-young.

President Moon gave her presentation on the theme, "Humankind is One Family in a Peaceful World" and said, "The history of humankind has been a history of conflicts and struggles, but we need to spread the true love movement with the love and harmony of mothers in the 21st century."

During his first participation at an event of the WFWP, the former Director of the Yeosu Labor Office, Mr. Seo Seok-jun, was very impressed by the global activities of the WFWP and the speech of President Moon Lan-young. He said that he hopes the WFWP will achieve and deliver more love and hope to the people of the world as an NGO in General Consultative Status with the UN.
