11월 8일 고흥지부(지부장:후지와라 미요)는 고흥 문화회관에서 160명이 함께 동참하여을 개최하였다.

최영례 회원의 사회로 후지와라 미요 지부장(고흥군)의 환영사, 이운숙 원불교 교무(고흥원불교)의 축사, 손숙희 지부장(광주 전남도)의 격려사, 문난영 회장의 주제강연 순으로 진행되었다.

이날 포럼은 라는 주제로 참석자들에게 여성연합의 전 세계 활동과 이 시대의 활동방향성을 제시 했다.

이날 포럼에 원불교(NGO단체) 교무는 여성연합의 활동에 감동 했다며 소록도의 방문 견학을 직접 주선해주기도 했다.

고흥지부는 , 등 다양한 지역 활동을 펼치고 있다.

Gwangju, Jeonnam Goheung Branch

The Jeonnam Goheung Branch (Branch Director: Fujiwara Miyo) hosted a 21C Women Leaders Forum at the Goheung Cultural Hall.

The Forum was presided over by Choi Young-rye and the Director of the Goheung Branch, Fujiwara Miyo, gave the welcoming address. Congratulatory remarks by Lee Woon-suk of Goheung Won Buddhism, a speech by Director Son Sook-hee of the Gwangju Jeonnam Branch, and a presentation by President Moon Lan-young were applauded by all the participants.

The theme of the Forum was "Humankind is One Family in a Peaceful World". The global activities of the WFWP were introduced to the participants to suggest ways in which they could participate in volunteer activities to help the world.

The Director of Won Buddhism said that he was impressed by the wonderful works done by the WFWP and arranged a visit to Sorok Island for the members of the WFWP.

The Goheung Branch is running various local programs such as the “Shell Festival”, the “Sorok Festival” and several more.
