지난 9월 26일~27일 ‘아시아 여성: 변화의 주역’이라는 주제로 서울시여성 가족재단 주최로 이 개최되어 문난영 회장, 최영선 사무총장이 본 연합을 대표하여 참석하였다.

이날 포럼에서는 UN여성의 수장인 미쉘 바첼레트의 영상 메시지와 UN 사무차장인 레베카 그린스팬 부총재(UN개발계획)의 기조연설을 통해 아시아 여성이 처한 문제를 함께 토론하고 정책 사례를 공유하는 시간이 되었다.

The First Asian Women’s Network Forum

A Forum hosted by the Seoul Foundation of Women and Family and supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Metropolis Women’s International Network was held 27 September on “Promoting an Asian Gender Network." President LY Moon and SG YS Choi attended the forum on behalf of WFWP. A screen message was sent by Dr. Michelle Bachelet, executive director of UN Women, and a keynote address was given by Rebeca Grynspan, UN Under-Secretary-General and UNDP Associate Administrator.
