전남 구례지부는 지난 7월18일 그랜드웨딩홀에서 라는 주제로 을 개최하였다.

구례군 지역의 지도자들과 지역주민 168명이 참석한 포럼은 요시다 미사꼬 회원의 사회로 참사랑합창단의 축송, 김현순 지부장(구례군)의 환영사, 서은식 군의장의 축사, 손숙희 도 지부장(전남)의 격려사, 문난영 세계회장(본 연합)의 주제 강연 순으로 진행되었다.

이날 포럼에는 구례여성 단체장들(새마을 군 부녀회장, 생활개선 군 회장, 한국여성지도자연합회장, UPF 여성포럼회장)이 참석하여 이 후로도 지속적 교육을 건의하며 참여의사를 전하였다.

또한 정동인 전 교육감(전남)은 일목요연한 강의 내용을 3페이지 정도 기록을 했다며 생활일지에 적어 놓고 수시로 인용할 것 같다 라며 참석소감을 전했다.

궂은 날씨에도 포럼에 참석한 지역 지도자들과 참석자들의 적극적인 모습을 보면서 포럼을 준비했던 회원들은 뿌듯함을 느끼고 힘을 얻게 되었다며 감사의 마음과 함께 활동에 대한 자신감을 보였다.

Jeonnam Gurye Branch -- 21C Women Leaders Forum

Jeonnam Gurye Branch held a 21C Women Leaders Forum on July 18 at a wedding hall.

Participating in the forum were 168 people, leaders and citizens from the Gurye area. Yoshida Misako was MC. The schedule included a congratulatory song by the True Love Chorus, Gurye Branch Manager Kim Hyun-soon's welcome speech, a congratulatory message from the Gurye County Chief Seo Eun-sik, words of encouragement from goveror of Jeonnam Province Son Sook-hee, and main lecture by WFWPI President Moon Lan Young.

Gurye women's group leaders attended including the president of the county's new town chief, chair of ­the Improvement of County Living Conditions , president of the Coalition for Korean Women Leaders, and local UPF chairwoman. They suggested holding continuous education programs in which they would participate.

Jung Dong-in, former Jeonnam superintendent of education, said in his reflection that he is going to fully utilize the three pages of notes he took from the lectures. Members who prepared the forum were pleased and confident about the program in spite of the bad weather.
