지난 5월19일 울산지부는 지역주민 180여명이 참석한 가운데 울산시 교육청에서 21C여성지도자포럼을 개최했다.

유리꼬 회원의 사회를 시작으로 김영화 지부장(울산)의 환영사, 박순환 의장(울산 시의회)과 김복만 교육감(울산시) 축사, 박근령 총재(한국재난구호)의 격려사, 문난영 회장의 라는 주제강연 순으로 진행되었다.

다문화 활동을 활발히 진행하고 있는 울산지부는 이번 포럼을 통해 지역의 활동 범위를 확대하는 계기가 되었고, 또한 세계적인 활동을 하고 있는 여성연합을 지역에 홍보하는 기회가 되었다고 전했다.

Ulsan Branch: 21C Women Leaders Forum

Ulsan Branch held a 21C Women Leaders Forum on May 19, at Ulsan City Education Office with 180 local residents.

WFWP member Yuriko was MC, Branch Manager Kim Young-hwa (Ulsan) gave welcoming remarks, Chairperson Park Sun-hwan (Ulsan City Council) and Superintendent of Education Kim Bok-man (Ulsan City) gave congratulatory remarks, President Park Geun-ryung (Korea Disaster Relief) gave encouraging remarks, and Pres. Moon gave the main speech, "Humankind as One Family and World Peace."

It was an opportunity to expand the local activity to Ulsan Branch which works has invested much in multi-cultural activity, and an opportunity to do Women's Federation PR in the local area.
